tyleWe – Designers at your Fingertips is an online fashion platform which features works from independent fashion designers. Through StyleWe’s platform independent designers can publish their designs to the website’s customers and receive orders from them. Apart from its website StyleWe can also be accessed through its mobile application.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
History
StyleWe.com was founded on July 2015 with a 1 million yuan in seed investment. $2 million angel funding from ICIG (Lenovo Capital and Incubator Group) in June 2015. Jun, 2016, StyleWe raises $15 million to expand into US market. In 2016 StyleWe launched its sportswear line featuring sportswear designed by independent designers.[8][9][10][11][12]
Operations
StyleWe enables designers to concentrate on the designing process of the clothes. The remaining aspects of selling the clothes like production, logistics, accounting etc. are taken care by StyleWe. StyleWe works with independent fashion developers from around the world. It helps them in marketing their products and also helps them in manufacturing processes.[13] StyleWe supports a community which is shared by both designers and customers. The community enables them to share ideas, communicate, and work with each other to create the desired product. It also helps the designers to get quick feedback and opinions when they are trying to launch a new product. The forum also allows customers to share their shopping experiences.[14][15]
