In fact, it’s the health industry that booked\u00a0a whopping $24.4 billion in combined 2014\u00a0revenue according to Inc<\/strong> magazine.\u00a0 So here is the list for the most profitable industries in the U.S.<\/p>\n

Reclaiming its title from last year,\u00a0health\u00a0is again the most profitable industry on the Inc. 5000. Led by workplace-drug and genetic tester\u00a0Castle Medical (No. 4),\u00a0this sector booked\u00a0a whopping $24.4 billion in combined 2014\u00a0revenue.<\/p>\n

\u00a0With a total 2014 revenue of $17.5 billion, the IT industry is showing no signs of slowing down.<\/p>\n

The U.S. business products and services\u00a0 industry is in an in-between period. Lower energy prices are cushioning bottom lines and revenues continue to grow, but momentum has slowed.
